01 – PROJECT OBJECTIVE

What these videos are for

The goal is to collect first-person video of everyday household activities in real residential environments. These videos are used to train humanoid robots and AI systems to understand and replicate household tasks.

!
Privacy guaranteed: Participants' faces must not be visible at any point during recording. This includes reflections in mirrors and photos of people.
02 – ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Where you record

The recording environment must be a home with modern appliances and accessories. It can be your own home or a friend's or family member's, as long as it meets the requirements.

03 – HEAD MOUNT SETUP

How to mount your phone

i
You buy your own head mount strap and you keep it — it is not reimbursed. You can find one cheaply on Amazon or any online store (around $10–20 USD). Any phone head strap compatible with a GoPro-style mount will work.

The phone must be mounted on your head with a head mount strap, at forehead or eye level, with the camera pointing downward approximately 45 degrees.

Correct vs incorrect head mount
04 – TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Camera settings

05 – HAND AND CAMERA VISIBILITY

Keep your hands in frame

06 – INTERACTION SEQUENCE

Capture the full action

When you introduce an object during recording, make sure to capture the full interaction. Each action must include the following complete sequence:

!
One task = one clip. Do not cut mid-task. Clip duration limits depend on your project — check your project page on the operator dashboard.
1
Grasp
Pick up the object fully in frame.
2
Hold
Keep it visible while holding.
3
Place
Set it down without leaving frame.
4
Show result
Display the final outcome.
First-person example, folding laundry
i
Example: When folding laundry, pick up and fold one item at a time, keeping it fully in frame. Only move on to the next item after placing the previous one in its final position.
07 – LIGHTING

Accepted and unaccepted lighting conditions

08 – EDITING RULES

10 – PAYMENT INFORMATION

How we pay you

Your rate per approved hour depends on the project — see your project page on the operator dashboard. The rest of the payment process (calendar, method, wallet setup) is the same for every project at TrainThemAI.

Payment calendar — every month
FIRST PAYMENT
5
of each month
SECOND PAYMENT
20
of each month
How each cycle works

Each payday covers videos approved (Ok in QC) up to the day before (the 4th and the 19th). Anything approved after that cutoff rolls into the next cycle — nothing is lost.

Payment method — USDT on BEP-20 (BNB Chain)

We pay in USDT on BEP-20 (BNB Chain) only — not TRC-20, not ERC-20. Set up a free wallet (Binance, Trust Wallet, or MetaMask) and add your BEP-20 address in the operator dashboard before your first payday.

Your operator dashboard: Once onboarding is complete, go to dashboard.trainthemai.com to set up your payment method, view your uploaded videos, track QC status for each one, and see your upcoming payment amount.
